Samaritan Behavioral Staff
The programs at Samaritan Behavioral Center maintain an interdisciplinary focus. Using an interdisciplinary approach for psychiatric, neuropsychiatric and medical care fosters team problem-solving, better morale and coordination among team members. Highly functioning interdisciplinary teams demonstrate an appreciation, respect, and understanding of other allied professionals as well as the contribution of the family caregiver, who is viewed as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. Team collaboration involves the caregiver’s perspective which helps direct the overall care and is fully represented in the intervention process. Having the caregiver’s “buy-in” and input are essential to assure follow-through of the treatment process and rehabilitation strategies, especially once the individual is discharged.
All staff members at Samaritan Behavioral Center are dedicated to offering patient an individualized, person-center treatment plan in a safe and supportive environment. While hospitalized, individuals will be assigned a multi-disciplinary treatment team to assist in meeting their own specific needs.
